Getting stuff done

After the completion of the experiment, drawing the graph was a problem. The graph was shifted so much that the program could not draw therefore we shifted the data by subtracting 549 from all the data points, and then we were able to achieve a nice root graph.

Air Bounce Updated

Due to the difficulty of measuring the pressure of the ball we will use the mass of the ball instead using an electronic scale. The experiment was conducted and the data will be put into a graph for visual purposes

New Idea Air Vs Bounce

On Friday April 27, 2012
Mr. Hnidei approved of our new idea which is as following:
Having a basketball with its pressure being the independent variable being dropped from a constant height.
Then the ball will bounce and this is the dependent variable.
Here is a diagram of it:

Experiment 1 - Up Dated idea

Sunday April 8, 2012
After experimenting with the Styrofoam ball,we determined that it was not light enough to jump out of the water we tried the same experiment with a ping pong ball. The results were better but not sufficient enough to continue with it. Therefor we decided to cancel the idea and find a new one in the mean time.

Experiment 1 idea + Brainstorm + trial

On Friday  March 30th
Hassan, Khaled, Samir, and Mohammed  worked together to come up with an experiment to try out for the math FSE.
The experiment looked as follows:

After experiment we noticed that the ball does not achieve enough velocity to leave the water; It simple bobs over the top.
As can be seen from the following pictures:
